He supervises. That’s the job title he gave himself, and I have never been in a position to argue.

He chose this photograph himself, in the sense that he sat down in front of a framed print of Oscar’s Garden and would not move again until it had been taken. The print is still available. Fred is not.
If you have ever wondered why this site carries a fur disclosure, he is the reason. He has never once been asked to help, and he has never once not helped.
