This is the kind of spoon that makes you pause before reaching for it - and that's entirely the point.
Every line on this beech wood spoon was burned by hand using a pyrography tool. The design - hearts, spirals, and a loose, un-shaded flower spreading across the bowl as if it came directly out of the wood itself. Just a heat pen, a steady hand, time and a lot of patience.
The handle is fully decorated on all sides with an interlocking pattern of diagonal hatching, hearts, and scrolling spirals, right down to the tip. The bowl carries the centerpiece: a flowing floral design with radiating leaves and delicate dot details - all in the "un-shaded" style, meaning the beauty is entirely in the line work rather than any filled shading.
It's a perfectly functional cooking or salad spoon — solid, smooth, and the right size for everyday use. It also happens to look brilliant hanging on a kitchen wall or propped in a crock on the counter.
As each spoon is hand made, there is exactly one of these in the world, each spoon is special and unique, even if the Dini Doll pattern is the same. Once it's gone, it's gone.
This item has been treated with a food-safe, colorless, and odorless mineral oil which protects against moisture, stains, and cracking, requiring periodic reapplication for best results.

Care Instructions
These spoons have been coated in several layers of (organic food-safe oil) and to keep it as perfect as possible, you may want to repeat this process if the wood starts looking dry. (The same way as recommended to keep wooden chopping boards in the best condition.)
Please wash your spoon in soapy warm water by hand, but do not allow it to soak for a long time as this could warp the wood. We also recommend not keeping the spoon resting in a hot pot or pan whilst cooking as this could darken the wood on the end which could affect the look of the design.
Happy Cooking!
